Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 1st July 2026

At UpSeat™, is a brand of Metro Furniture & Interiors, we are committed to delivering reliable repair, refurbishment, and maintenance services. This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage applicable to services and replacement parts supplied by UpSeat.


1. Warranty Coverage

Warranty is applicable only for:

  • Replacement components supplied by UpSeat™

  • Repair workmanship performed by UpSeat™ technicians

  • Refurbishment services completed by UpSeat™

  • Services specifically mentioned in the quotation or invoice

Warranty becomes effective from the date of service completion or invoice date, whichever is earlier.


2. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise specified in the quotation or invoice, the following standard warranty periods apply:

Gas Lift Replacement 6 Months
Chair Base Replacement 6 Months
Wheel/Castor Replacement 6 Months
Mechanism Replacement 6 Months
Armrest Replacement 3 Months
Seat Cushion Replacement 3 Months
Upholstery / Fabric Replacement 3 Months
Mesh Replacement 3 Months
Deep Cleaning Service No Warranty (Service Only)
Refurbishment Services Up to 6 Months (Depending on Components Replaced)
AMC Services As per the AMC Agreement

Warranty duration may vary based on the product, component brand, or customer agreement.


3. What Is Covered

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in replacement components supplied by UpSeat™

  • Installation defects

  • Repair workmanship issues

  • Functional failure of covered replacement parts under normal office usage

Where applicable, UpSeat™ will repair or replace the defective component at its discretion.


4. What Is Not Covered

Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Fabric fading or discoloration

  • Cosmetic scratches or minor marks

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, or negligence

  • Overloading beyond manufacturer specifications

  • Water damage

  • Fire, flood, theft, accidents, or natural disasters

  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Damage caused during transportation by third parties

  • Customer-supplied spare parts

  • Deep cleaning results after the service has been completed

  • Damage caused by improper storage or handling


5. Warranty Claims

To request warranty service, customers should provide:

  • Original Invoice

  • Service Invoice Number

  • Photographs or videos of the issue

  • Description of the problem

Our support team may schedule an inspection before approving any warranty claim.


6. Inspection

UpSeat™ reserves the right to inspect the product before approving:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Warranty rejection

Inspection may be conducted either:

  • At the customer’s location

  • At our workshop

  • Through photographs or videos when appropriate


7. Warranty Resolution

If the warranty claim is approved, UpSeat™ may:

  • Repair the defective component

  • Replace the defective component with an equivalent product

  • Re-perform the service where applicable

The chosen remedy shall be at the sole discretion of UpSeat™.


8. Non-Transferable Warranty

Warranty is valid only for the original customer or organization mentioned on the invoice and cannot be transferred to another individual or business.


9. Limitation of Liability

UpSeat™ shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of productivity

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Any damages exceeding the original service value paid by the customer


10. AMC Customers

Customers covered under an active Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) shall receive warranty and service support according to the terms specified in their respective AMC Agreement.

Where an AMC Agreement conflicts with this Warranty Policy, the AMC Agreement shall prevail.


11. Changes to this Warranty Policy

UpSeat™ reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
